OUR STORY
Having met in Italy, we thought there was no better place for us to gather our families and friends to celebrate our marriage together. As you all know, Italy is a very special place for us, and we would love the opportunity for our loved ones in Canada to experience this beautiful country with us. As our guests, you will experience the true local, southern Italian lifestyle, indulge in our rich culture, and gain a few gorgeous pounds!
WHERE TO STAY
Our wedding venue, the Grand Hotel San Michele, is located along the north shore of the Tyrrhenian sea. It is relatively more expensive than others in the area, but has over 60 rooms, breathtaking views, a private golf course, a vineyard, and last but not least, an elevator that takes you through the cliffs onto a private beach! If you wish to stay at our venue, please let us know by sending us an email here as we have a group rate reservation list. Otherwise, we have listed other hotels that we recommend in the area.
WHAT TO DO
Summer in the south of Italy is nothing short of amazing. The warm weather, the fresh air, and the beaches are all so inviting. If you decide to arrive in Calabria a few days before the wedding or stay for a few days after, there is plenty for you to do, whether you're into lounging by the beach, exploring nearby historical villages, savouring local cuisine, or simply driving along the coast of the Tyrrhenian sea with no place to be. We've listed a few of our favourite places to go and restaurants to eat at below to help keep you busy during your stay. And of course, if you're planning to visit other parts of Italy as well (which we strongly encourage you to do), please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need any recommendations!

A FINAL NOTE
While it seems that the world is slowly starting to feel 'normal' again, we understand that planning for international travel in the coming months might still be quite stressful. However, we are confident that this trip to Italy will be well worth it. The past two years have been incredibly challenging, and we truly hope that our wedding can be an opportunity for us to put these times behind us, and get back to living our best lives and starting to travel again.
